Overview
Detailed maps can be removed or deleted from your Triton using the Magellan VantagePoint software. Follow the detailed instructions below:
Step-by-Step
1. Connect your Triton GPS to your PC, power it on, and launch VantagePoint.
2. Click the "Browse Maps" tab on the left navigation bar.
3. Detailed maps are shown under the heading of "Image Maps"
4. Right Click on the map you wish to remove and select "Delete"
5. Your map will be deleted.
- Remember that to later transfer new maps to your Triton, ensure that VantagePoint is not open as this will cause a conflict between your Triton and TOPO!
