Overview
TOPO! Explorer includes a variety of Forumsfor users to discuss outdoor activities, their favorite places, and connect with staff at National Geographic Maps. We ask that you do not post commercial ads or solicitations on the site, but encourage you to share recommendations on gear, perfect trips, and more. See below for step-by-step instructions on creating a forum post.
Step-by-Step
1. Login to your TOPO! Explorer User account. Or Create a Free TOPO! Explorer Account if you don't have one yet.
2. Navigate to the Forums.
3. Forums are listed in alphabetical order. Our Welcome Forum is a great place to get started and learn about current features and more.
4. Browse a Forum by simply clicking on it's title. Topics are organized from (newest-to-oldest).
5. Start a new topic by clicking the "Start a New Topic" link in the top right corner of that forum page.
6. Reply to someone else's post by clicking the "Reply to Post" link within a topic page.
7. Forum posts can accept html markup for formatting and links.
8. If you stumble across any inappropriate content - simply click the "Flag as Inappropriate" link below the users thumbnail image and name, found on every post.
