Overview
Map credits enable you to download SuperQuads from the TOPO! Explorer Online Map Store. You receive map credits by entering a valid serial number provided through the purchase of TOPO! Explorer or Explorer Deluxe retail packages, or through a purchase on the online store. Note: TOPO! Explorer Deluxe, which contains 25 map credits and USGS 1:100k scale USGS maps, is only available for purchase through a retailer. This how-to article explains how to redeem a serial number you have been provided.
Step-by-Step
1. Either launch the TOPO! Explorer desktop application or launch your web browser and navigate to topo.com
2. When prompted login to your account. If you are using the desktop application login will appear on the splash screen, if using the website a link to the login page will appear in the top right corner of the home page.
3. Once logged in navigate to the "My Account" page on the TOPO! Explorer website, and then click the "My Purchases" tab.
4. At the top of the "My Purchases" tab locate the link to "Enter a Serial Number"
5. In the serial number box that appears - enter the serial number printed on the back of your TOPO! Explorer or Explorer Deluxe CD case. Note" be sure to enter the serial number exactly as printed. All caps with dashes.
6. Once entered you'll see that your number of Map Credits will increase by the amount provided with your purchase (25 for Explorer and Explorer Deluxe Retail Packages).
