Overview

TOPO! Explorer Version 1.0.3 was released on Tuesday June 24th. It is the third update to TOPO! Explorer version 1.0 and contains a variety of stability improvements plus raster image transfer support for Magellan Triton GPS receivers. A detailed list of all improvements for both PC and Mac OS are detailed below.

New Features and Improvements

  • 1.0.3 is a PC Only upgrade available via LiveUpdate or via download from your account/my purchases page.
  • Magellan Triton Raster Image Transfer : PC Users can now connect and transfer topos, aerials, and hybrid imagery to their Magellan Triton GPS receivers. This functionality includes a new selection tool, auto-detect feature, and the ability to select 1:24k, 1:100k, or both levels of map for transfer.
  • Routes now draw behind symbols, text, or other content in your Trip Files.
  • Resolved an issue associated with auto-login that has prevented select users from launching the TOPO! Explorer application.
  • Fixed a script error associated with Windows Users when a new update is available for download.
  • Fixed an error that would cause script errors or crashes associated with the download of trips, maps, photos, or other content that had html-illegal characters in their names or descriptions.
