Overview
This article provides step-by-step directions on how to login to your TOPO! Explorer account from the desktop application and how to enter a redeem a serial number.
Step-by-Step
1. Launch the TOPO! Explorer desktop application.
2. Once the application has launched, Login using your website account email and password.
3. Depending upon your internet connection an "accessing TOPO.com" message will appear briefly, then you will arrive at your "My Messages" page in your account profile.
4. Should you have added Trips or Authors to your favorites, or posted content to the site, your My Messages page will alert you to file updates. You can manage your message preferences on this page.
5. To redeem a serial number from a TOPO! Explorer or Explorer Deluxe software package, or one provided to you as a gift, click the "My Purchases" tab.
6. Click the "Enter a Serial Number" link near the top of the My Purchases page.
7. A field will appear to type in your number. Note the serial number is case sensitive and requires dashes.
8. Upon entering your serial number note that your "Map Credits Remaining" field has increased to the number provided with your serial number. (25) comes with TOPO! Explorer and Explorer Deluxe retail packages.
