Overview
The TOPO! Explorer print tool enables you to quickly and easily print maps from your Trip Files. To activate the tool select it from the top menu bar, third from the left. Keep in mind that the print feature is WYSIWYG based (What You See Is What You Get).
Step-by-Step
1. Launch the TOPO! Explorer desktop application and either open an existing Trip File or start a new one by navigating to the "Import/Export" bucket on the bottom of the left navigation bar.
2. Zoom into the SuperQuad you wish to print. Be sure to be on the particular layer you wish to output, such as TOPO, Aerial, or Hybrid.
3. Select the Print Tool - a preview screen will appear.
4. Use the Pan tool to grab the map inside the preview to adjust the position of the area covered.
5. To change the orientation click either the portrait or landscape icons from the tool bar below the print preview.
6. Change the page size by clicking the "page setup" field on the tool bar below the print preview.
7. To modify the display of grid spacing click the "grid spacing" field and select your desired increment.
8. Use the profile field to include an elevation profile of your route on the printed map.
9. Once your preferences are selected click "print" the map will be sent to your printer.
