Overview
This article provides step-by-step directions on how to install the TOPO! Explorer application on a Mac. TOPO! Explorer is compatible with OS X versions 10.3.9 or better. Please consult the System Requirements for complete hardware requirements.
Step-by-Step
1. Login to your TOPO! Explorer Account at http://topo.com. If you do not have an account, please follow the registration instructions.
2. Navigate to your account profile by clicking on your username in the top-right corner of your screen.
3. Once in your account page - click the "My Purchases" tab and scroll down ~ 1/2 way to locate the ::Download the Latest App:: bucket.
5. Select the TOPO Explorer for Mac link and follow the onscreen prompts to save the download to your desktop.
6. Once the download is complete, and mounted, browse the TOPO! Explorer folder and locate the TOPO! Explorer application .
7. Drag and Drop the TOPO! Explorer application to your Applications folder.
8. Once copied to the TOPO! Explorer folder, the application will automatically create the necessary files to support the installation.
9. Once copying is complete, launch the TOPO! Explorer application. Note that the first time you launch it may take up to several minutes to complete "behind the scenes" configuration. Do not close, cancel or end-task the application.
10. Once launched ::login:: using your TOPO! Explorer Website user account email address and password. - The Installation is Complete!
