Overview
TOPO! Explorer Version 1.0.1 was released the evening of June 5th, 2008. It is the first update to the TOPO! Explorer desktop application and works for both the Mac and PC operating systems. This release included a variety of stability improvements plus several new enhancements. A detailed list of changes is listed below.
New Features and Improvements
- Stability improvements
- Resolved remaining script errors and operating problems with smaller screen resolutions
- Routes, Text, and Waypoints will now appear on all map levels
- Enhanced Printing
- Improvements to print quality and Mac Support
- (Grids, Declination and a variety of scales coming very soon.)
- Enhanced GPS Support
- Most all Garmin and Magellan USB and Serial Models are now supported through auto-detect
- Units can transfer waypoints to and from TOPO! Explorer and routes from TOPO! Explorer to their receiver
- (Magellan Triton, Garmin Colorado, and Mac Support coming very soon.)
- (Manual GPS configuration coming soon).
- Text Label Editing Improvements
- Labels can be selected, moved and edited easier.
- Trip Download Improvements
- Downloading Trips should no longer create duplicates
