Overview
TOPO! Explorer Version 1.0.5 was released on Friday July 11. It is the fifth update to TOPO! Explorer application and contains a variety of stability improvements plus support for the popular Garmin Colorado GPS, online trip editing and deletion, and enhancements to the Magellan Triton map transfer interface.
New Features and Improvements
- Added GPS support for the Garmin Colorado series (on both Mac and PC)
- Magellan Triton map export of 100K maps now works from TOPO! Explorer Deluxe DVDs (previous versions only exported SuperQuad maps)
- Trip files shared on topo.com can now be removed/deleted
- Trip files shared on topo.com can now be updated/reposted
- Improved 'Share / Save' process, with a simpler way of defining the start location and map level for the trip
- HTML special characters - bugs fixed for tags, titles, and description
- Bugs fixed that could corrupt map database files, causing the app to crash during start up or while downloading new maps from topo.com
- Changed printing on Mac, which will hopefully fix problems reported by some users of maps that were printing in odd hues
